SteelSeries character design marked a major milestone for Pes Motion Studio as we ventured into the video game world. Our team developed a gang of original, vibrant characters to promote SteelSeries’ Sonar and Moments apps.
The project
As gaming and technology enthusiasts ourselves, the PES team jumped at the thrilling opportunity to collaborate with SteelSeries. But beyond that, the SteelSeries character design project allowed us to merge our love for gaming with our passion for character development, creating a truly explosive combination.
SteelSeries tasked Pes Motion Studio with creating a SteelSeries character design cast of extra-special characters to celebrate the launch of their distinctive and unique Sonar and Moments applications. With Sonar, gamers could optimize in-game audio to hear every crucial detail, gaining an edge over their opponents. Meanwhile, Moments made it easier than ever to record and share a player’s finest gaming moments.
Drawing inspiration from classic gaming archetypes, Pes Motion Studio developed the SteelSeries character design for a diverse and unique “virtual gang.” This group included fighters, lovable companions, and fantastical creatures – all united by their adventurous spirit. Meet Jake, Tina, Caroline, TJ, Jamal, Voxel, Bait, and The Orc – the virtual gang ready to accompany players on their gaming journeys.
