Motion Array Overreacting: What if every small action triggered a ridiculously big reaction?

Motion Array Overreacting is a surreal 3D motion design campaign created by PES Motion Studio, where simple digital actions trigger ridiculously big reactions.

A click becomes an explosion. A simple movement multiplies into chaos. Digital objects escape their screens and ordinary moments spiral into something excessive, unexpected and fun.

Built around four distinct concepts, the campaign combines 3D animation, motion design and seamless loops to celebrate one simple idea: sometimes, the best reaction is an overreaction.

Small Actions. Big Reactions.

What happens when a simple action triggers an excessive reaction?

For Motion Array — Overreacting, PES Motion Studio created four distinct 3D animated worlds where ordinary interactions quickly spiral into playful visual chaos.

A click multiplies into an explosion of rubber ducks. Desktop icons escape the screen. A ping-pong rally becomes an endless choreography of paddles and balls. Meanwhile, a pizza delivery collapses into a flood of digital errors.

Four concepts, four loopable animations and one shared idea: turning everyday digital actions into unexpected, surreal and exaggerated reactions.

Animation

The campaign combines 3D animation, motion design and surreal visual storytelling to give each concept its own personality while maintaining a cohesive visual language across the series.

Objects multiply, inflate, collide, bounce and overflow as each animation builds toward an exaggerated reaction. Designed as seamless loops, the four films use rhythm, transformation and unexpected transitions to keep the action constantly moving while allowing each piece to adapt naturally across different digital formats.

Designed to Overreact Everywhere

The Overreacting campaign was developed as a flexible motion design system rather than a single fixed format.

Each of the four concepts was designed to work across multiple digital placements, allowing compositions, characters, typography and 3D elements to adapt to different aspect ratios and screen sizes.

This modular approach creates a consistent campaign identity while giving every animation enough freedom to develop its own surreal world.

Four Ways to Overreact

The project began with four independent creative concepts:
Click to Splash turns a simple cursor interaction into an uncontrollable multiplication of rubber ducks.

Desktop Overflow transforms familiar digital folders and interface elements into oversized inflatable objects that escape the screen.

Ping-Pong Chaos exaggerates a simple game into an endless choreography of paddles, balls and unpredictable movement.

404 Pizza: Error Delivery combines a familiar pizza delivery with digital system failures, transforming the reveal into an explosion of 3D error messages.

From concept and storyboard development through style frames, 3D design and animation. Ultimately, each idea was built around the same creative principle small action, massive reaction.

Building the Chaos

Every element in Motion Array — Overreacting was developed to push familiar digital experiences into a playful and unexpected 3D universe.

PES Motion Studio combined surreal environments, expressive objects, bold typography and exaggerated animation to create a visual language that feels intentionally excessive.

The result is a collection of four seamless looping animations where digital culture, graphic design and 3D motion collide—turning ordinary interactions into extraordinary visual reactions.
