Gatorade 5v5 Soccer is a global youth tournament organized by Gatorade and brought to life by PES Motion Studio in collaboration with Nobox. For the second year in a row, our team visualized this energetic campaign, highlighting young soccer talents from over 20 countries.
The challenge for PES was to create a system of animated pieces for social media that would align with the tournament’s identity of being young and dynamic.
PES’ proposal for the Gatorade 5v5 Soccer campaign was centered on giving life to the “super teen soccer players,” inspired by the sport’s celebrities, such as Lionel Messi and Gabriel Jesus. To capture the spirit and energy of these stars, the PES team employed a combination of cell animation and strategically placed type to drive the pieces.
Ultimately, PES conveyed a vibrant and powerful message to the audience through the Gatorade 5v5 Soccer campaign. We were thrilled to contribute to this global initiative, which reached more than 9.4M total views.
