The challenge for PES was to create a system of animated pieces for social media that would align with the tournament’s identity of being young and dynamic.
PES’ proposal was centered on giving life to the “super teen soccer players,” inspired by the sport’s celebrities, such as Lionel Messi and Gabriel Jesus. To capture the spirit and energy of these stars, the PES team employed a combination of cell animation and strategically-placed type to drive the pieces.
Ultimately, PES conveyed a vibrant and powerful message to the audience. We were thrilled to contribute to this global campaign, which reached more than 9.4M total views.
