Immerse yourself in a world brimming with festive cheer! Pes Motion Studio teamed up with Disney Channel EMEA to bring the enchanting spirit of the season to life with a heartwarming campaign overflowing with sweets, gift-wrapping, and unforgettable Christmas traditions.
Concept
PES’ mission was to capture the magical spirit of the holiday season. Through enchanting 2D animation, we seamlessly wove classic Christmas memories – like family dinners, decorating the Christmas tree, and the tales of Santa’s workshop – into the fresh, vibrant branding of Disney EMEA.
To bring this vision to life, Pes Motion Studio created a graphic universe that aligned with Disney’s iconic aesthetic and characters. This resulted in eight different Christmas short stories and a collection of versatile assets, all ideal to convey the brand’s aesthetic vision.
While the animation may seem effortlessly simple, achieving this look required the collaborative efforts of PES’ entire team. We combined 3D elements, traditional frame-by-frame animation, and motion graphics to create depth and organic movements while maintaining the desired 2D aesthetic.
Collaborating with Disney and seeing Pes Motion Studio’s designs bring the magic of Christmas to the Disney Channel was an absolute joy!
