The project
Pes Motion Studio was thrilled to be chosen to design the new splash screen for After Effects 2024 as well as this fun, dynamic complementary 30-second spot.
Concept
Given complete creative freedom, PES’ sole directive was to capture the essence of “play” within our creative process. We explored a variety of narratives to structure the final piece, combining abstract and figurative elements in surreal compositions that truly captured the spirit of PES’ creative expression.
Creative Process
Pes Motion Studio used a diverse blend of techniques and resources to bring this concept to life. We brought together 3D modeling elements and traditionally animated illustrations to create a piece that celebrated our passion for motion graphics and honored all the possibilities the Adobe suite offers.
Logo Design
During the process of crafting our 30-second video, the team at PES hit upon the creation of the ‘A’ logo version amidst our brainstorming, design iterations, 3D scene development, and animation work. Our inspiration was fueled by the freedom to explore and create, resulting in this innovative addition to our project.
This project marked a major milestone for Pes Motion Studio, and every time we open After Effects, it reignites the thrill of creation.
